Web Site viewing tips
This site was designed to run at its best in Microsoft Internet Explorer however it will also run happily in Netscape. It is a frames based site so will only run with a frame enabled browser. Some pages are designed using multiple layers which will only display correctly using the text size (or smaller) that they were designed in - Your browser text size can be altered quite easily to allow for this. Your browser will also need Java/Java scripts enabled for the menu and some of the other features to work properly and the on-line shop requires cookies to be enabled.

With this site being a frame based site the main menu is always in view. Most pages are accesible directly from this menu. Some pages are only accesible from links on the main pages - you should soon find your way around and will find the "Back" button useful to get back to a main page from any sub-set of pages.
To enable pages to load quicker many of the photo sizes have been kept small deliberately. Look out for one of the camera symbols above to expand or to see any pictures you are interested in.
The site is generally best
viewed with the text size on your browser set to Medium (MS Internet Explorer)
or to 120% in Netscape.
To alter text size
go up to the View drop down menu in your browser, select Text size
and then select the required size. You may need to experiment a little to get
the best results
You will find viewing easiest
with a screen resolution of 800x600 or more. If your monitor supports a reolution
of 1024x768 or more you will probably need the screen fonts set to large (Only
reccommended on 17" monitors or above)
To alter or check the screen resolution go to the Start menu, then settings,
then control panel, then select display and finally the settings
tab. You will then see the screen settings in the bottom rh corner. Click the
advanced button to see the font settings.
You can get the latest version of MS Internet Explorer or Netscape by downloading from the internet. Click either of the buttons below to go to the appropriate web site.
This site uses quite a bit of javascript for the menus and some of the other features. If they don't work properly you need to check your settings. To enable it in Netscape go up to the drop-down Edit menu, then down to preferences, then go down to the Advanced tab and tick the Java/Javascript boxes. In MS Internet Explorer go up to the Tools menu, then down to Internet options, then click the advanced tab and go down to JIT compiler for virtual machine and ensure the box is ticked.
The on-line shop, as with all other Internet shops, needs cookies enabled for the shopping basket and check-out to work. Your browser uses cookies to store information (such as shopping basket items, user names and addresses etc) on your computer temporarily and then retrieves them again later - In this case when you go through the checkout. To enabled cookies follow the menus as above (Java) and you will find check boxes in the same area. They're normally set to on as default
