Workshop services

Kellands can offer a full breakdown/repair service for virtually any make of sprayer whether tractor mounted, trailed or self-propelled either on our premises or your own. We are members of the NSTS sprayer testing scheme and can carry out a full calibration and test on any sprayer again either at our Birdlip workshops or on your own farm. We can repair or replace booms, plumbing systems, controls, pumps, electronics, electrics, tractor units, engines & transmissions - if we can't do it (which is unlikely) then we'll find someone who can!

We have four fully trained and experienced fitters all with fully equipped vans for field service - we can send our most experienced man out to you for the job in hand. Our workshops are equipped with all the necessary special tools and, of course, we have the backup of our comprehensively stocked parts department.

Special projects

Kellands also manufacture specialist sprayer units for amenity work, airports and any other special spraying requirements as well as the Agribuggy self-propelled sprayer. If we can't supply a ready built demountable sprayer for your own self-propelled tractor unit then we'll build it for you! We can build water bowsers and can retrofit new booms, wash systems, wash down systems, flowmeters, sprayer controllers, electric controls, higher capacity pumps - you name it!

The rig pictured on the left is used for spraying sports fields and golfcourses and is fitted with a 1,000 litre spray tank, 12 metre booms, chemical induction hopper, rinsing system, a quick fill pump system and a hose reel which can be used for washing down or in conjunction with a hand lance.

Manufacturing & Design

Kelland's design department uses the latest in 3D parametric design technology to create 3 dimensional models during the design process. This enables us to visualise product designs on-screen and ensures accuracy of fit of created parts and assemblies. All construction and shop fabrication drawings are created from the 3D model ensuring accuracy in the final product and thus saving time and cost of physical prototyping.
