The TrailLine foam marker is an electro-pneumatic unit, using an economical 12-volt compressor connected to the tractor battery.

The Trailine boutmarker

Foam is pumped to the mixer nozzles at the boom-ends by compressed air at 0.4 atms. Compressed air is also led separately to the nozzles, which mix the components and deposit the blobs at intervals to mark the treated area. The distance between blobs is adjusted by altering the volume of liquid reaching the nozzles.
